The fine was compounded by charges of 19 shillings 4 pence for a total of 29 shillings and 4 pence. He is to be sent to the jail in Springfield or Northampton until he pays. By the time all costs are assessed, the 10 shilling charge has escalated to 3 pounds 4 pence.
