These two World War II (WWII) era aerial photographs show the two main facilities of the Millers Falls Company of Greenfield and Millers Falls, Massachusetts during the most prosperous period of its history. The photos are mounted on a plaque as a memorial to those employees who died in the armed forces during WWII. The plant in Greenfield was at one time the home of the Goodell Pratt Tool Company, which merged into the Millers Falls Company in the 1930's. In 1979, the company was bought out, both plants were closed, and all manufacturing was relocated. The plant in Greenfield was eventually converted into an apartment complex. During WWII, this company supplied the War Department with large quantities of hand tools.
