Men and boys gathered to survey the damage following a fire at the Hotel Warren in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, in 1908. This building was a livery stable that was part of the hotel establishment. Hotels commonly maintained extra horses, a few buggies, and other horse drawn vehicles for people to hire. Following this fire, the hotel rebuilt and enlarged the stable.
