Moccasins are a style of leather footwear that has been made and used by Native peoples for centuries. Their styles and decorations changed over time and many were made for sale to tourists in the 19th and 20th centuries. This pair of moccasins is from the 1880s and is made of leather and decorated with glass beads and velvet. The beads form a leafy foliage pattern.
