The town of Orange, Massachusetts, lies along the eastern border of Franklin County extending to the north and south of the Miller's River. Orange became a town in 1810. By the late 1800s, many industries operated in Orange, which brought many new inhabitants. This postcard shows a vibrant downtown square with a trolley, lots of pedestrian traffic, and impressive brick buildings.
