These rectangular-shaped (19" x 37") looking glasses were referred to as "tabernacle" mirrors when they were made in the 19th century. This glass, with a reverse painting of a castle in the upper portion, is labeled by the maker, J.H. Miller and Co. The Miller firm dealt in "Frames and Pictures" in Springfield, Massachusetts.
