label levels:

There is currently no available "Beginner" label. The following is the default level label: Will Hutchins was a painter and teacher at the Deerfield Academy. He wrote the 1909 outdoor drama, performed at Deerfield, "Jeanne D'Arc at Vaucouleurs." The Greenfield Arts and Crafts Society was part of a larger movement in the United States that sought to combat modernism with an emphasis on handcrafted goods. For many, the items that they created offered a good opportunity for sales and a bit of fame. Here, the Greenfield society emphasizes its participation in a show in Boston. The arts and crafts movement's first major society in America was Boston's Society of Arts and Crafts, founded 1897. Boston remained the center of the movement until the late 1910s, when it began to lose market to New York and elsewhere.
