label levels:

There is currently no available "Beginner" label. The following is the default level label: These beaded cuffs were made by Gail Montour, a Kanien'kehaka (Mohawk), from Kahnawake, Quebec, in 2004. The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake commissioned these extraordinary beaded cuffs on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the French and Indian raid on Deerfield to commemorate the friendship between the communities of Deerfield and Kahnawake. Gail is one of the foremost bead workers of Kahnawake. The cuffs include stylized birds, which are her signature mark.
