To the Sheriff of the County of Hampshire-his Under-Sheriff, or Deputy, or
either of the Constables of the Town of New-Salem in said County

GREETING.

BECAUSE Amos Thomas, of New Salem- in
our County of Hampshire Yeoman & gentlemen-
on the 28th - Day of January in the Year of our
Lord, 1788- before me John Williams-Esq. one of the Justices
of the Peace for the County of Hampshire- Acknowledged by Default
of Appearance-that he was indebted to John Frink Physican and
Samuel Frink gentleman both of Rutland in the County of Worcester-
in the Sum of fiften pounds four shillings and two pence one farthing
which he ought to have paid on the said 28th Day of January- And
there now appears to be due fif ten pounds 4/2 1/4

We command you therefore, that of the Goods, Chattels, or real Estate of sd Amos Thomas
within your Precinct, you cause to be paid, and satisfied unto the
said Jno & Saml Frink, at the Value thereof, in Money, the aforesaid Sum of ten
fifteen pounds 4/2 1/4
together with thirty one shillings sd Costs of Process, and one shilling & four pence
for this Writ, and thereof also satisfy yourself your own lawful Fees. And for
want of Goods, Chattles, or real Estate of the said Amos Thomas within your
Precinct, to satisfy the Sums aforesaid, and your said Fees: WE command you to take
the Body of the said Amos Thomas-and him commit unto our Gaol in
our County of Hampshire aforesaid, there to be detained in the said Gaol
until he pay the full Sums above-said, with your said Fees, or that the said Amos
Thomas- be discharged by the said Jno & Saml Frink the Credi-
tors, or otherwise by order of Law. Hereof fail not, and make return of this Writ with
your Doings thereon, unto the above-said John William within
ninety Days from the Date hereof. Witness the said John Williams
at Deerfield- the twenty fourth Day of April
in the Year of our Lord, 1788 John Williams
