Sanderson Academy.

THE Spring Term of Sanderson Academy, will commence on Wednesday, March 11th under the continued care and instruction of Mr. R. A. COFFIN. With a view to insure greater uniformity in the studies of the school, it is thought proper to recommend the following Books, viz: Adams' Latin Grammar by Fiske, Goodrich's Greek Grammar, Latin Reader, Greek Reader, Colburn's Arithmetic and Algerbra, and Woodbridge's and Willard's Geography.

The following is the default level label: Sanderson Academy, in Ashfield, Massachusetts, was founded in 1816 and operated as a private school for most of the 19th century. It became the town's public school early in the 20th century. This advertisement from 1829 states the books parents should buy for students attending the spring term. The subjects include Latin, Greek, Mathematics and Geography. Books were not furnished by the school. The Greenfield Gazette and Franklin Herald was the newspaper in Greenfield, Massachusetts, from June 26, 1827 to June 27, 1837. It changed its name to the Gazette & Mercury.
