Netting and tufted work was a product of the Deerfield Industries in Deerfield, Massachusetts, during the Arts and Crafts movement. Lucy Henry (1843-1927) introduced netting, and tufted or knotted bedspreads, table and bureau covers, which she exhibited and sold from her home from about 1899 to 1919.
