The distribution of the personal land and property of Ebenezer Wells, who had inherited a house and property from his uncle Ebenezer (1691-1758), gave the widow a large share and gave each child, 6 boys and 2 girls, equal portions, according to the customs of the day. The 2 girls got farm vegetables, in addition to household goods, but no farm animals. Mr. Wells' land and buildings are not included in this distribution.
