This letter is from the secretary of the Monday Club of North Adams, Massachusetts, and for the trolley tracks being laid to the east of "the beautiful street." Jessie Paul Goodrich, the author of the letter, tells Mrs. Sheldon that the 40 members of the club she is in have sent a protest to their Representatives about the laying of the trolley tracks. She says that she knows neither of the representatives herself, but that they know her husband. L99.127
