Online Collection

Our Online Collection is made up of over 2,000 items from Memorial Hall Museum. This collection is comprised of artifacts, documents, maps, photographs and books from the Connecticut River Valley region of Massachusetts. The Collection spans a vast sweep of history: from the area's earliest native american inhabitants to more recent early twentieth-century times.

Civil War Newspaper Index

This online index identifies and briefly describes thousands of articles that were published in the Greenfield, Massachusetts, Gazette and Courier during the Civil War. The Gazette and Courier is part of the extensive archival holdings of the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association in Deerfield, Massachusetts. Unlike other sections of the Online Collection, most of the articles this index identifies are not available online. Articles can be viewed on microfilm at the Memorial Libraries in Deerfield.
