After eight years of operation, there have apparently been complaints about the whistles on the trolley cars posing an "aggravation to mankind." This letter attempts to correct the aggravation by ordering new, more expensive, whistles for all the five cars on the line. Note the promptness of the reply as well as the speed of the mail delivery; the complaint was received on May 29, 1908, and this reply was composed the next day, May 30, 1908.
