The deed form is a printed one, with spaces provided for each particular transaction. The seller of the land was Clarissa Stebbins, b. 1771 to Simeon and Hannah Stebbins, who married on November 29, 1797, and moved to Brattleboro, Vermont. She is disposing of land she owns in Deerfield, receiving from Zur Hawks twenty-six dollars for the one and one-half acre plot in the part of town called Newfort.
