Men, ammunition and supplies flowed into eastern Massachusetts in the days and weeks following the battles of Lexington and Concord. This bullet mold is said to have been heated around the clock for two full weeks before the Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775. The soapstone mold made up to eight seventy-five-caliber lead balls at one time.
