Found in a trunk in a Deerfield attic in the mid-20th century, the further origin of these two stone heads is unknown. One is of a man with hair parted on his left side and swept in an attempt at a pompadour. His shirt collar and tie are evident. The hair of the female figure is drawn back severely and she wears a high-necked bodice. They were probably created in the last quarter of the 19th century.
