A bench with a back that comes all the way to the floor was a good place to sit if you wanted to keep warm. With its high back to ward off drafts, the warm air it trapped would be comforting on a cold, windy day. It is made of sawn pine unpainted boards and was owned in the town of Warwick, Massachusetts
