The Millers Falls Company employees created their own monthly newsletter to share personal, company and war-related news. Often these newsletters were written to boost production using patriotism as a motivator. This cover displays one of the many products manufactured by the company during World War II (WWII). More than 195,000 of these breast plate hand drills were sent to the war effort from January, 1944 to October, 1944. The Millers Falls Company was formed in 1868 but is no longer in existence today.
