Salah Barnard died in 1795, leaving a widow and eight living children. His widow continued to live on in the homestead, and possibly controlled the other lands as well. This document, taken at the time of the death of the widow, is an assessment of the land that had been bought by Barnard and the value of each parcel. The homelot, Lot 29 I, with three acres and buildings, is valued at $1383.33.
