There is currently no available "Beginner" label. The following is the default level label: Formal instructions, such as how to curtsey properly, how to walk, even how to place one's feet when standing at rest are all included in this manual for young ladies. A young woman's appearance and posture were all important to her success as a social being in polite society. This is one among many books published in the 19th century to describe and illustrate "elegant recreations, exercises, and pursuits."
