Service: First Existing Record of John Partridge Bull's Military Enlistment

Enlisting | Moving Up | French & Indian Wars | Reenlisting | Last Reenlistment

Our first piece of evidence shows that John Partridge Bull enlisted in the military at age seventeen, he served under a Lieutenant Seth Pomeroy (1706 - 1777). Bull's name is found, along with 28 other names, as part of a group who "went to Deerfield August 1748." This would probably have been his first opportunity to enlist.

See Trade section for more details on the possible relationship between Bull and Pomeroy.
